![]() New International Cruise Terminal, Pier 30/32, San Francisco, CA Pier 30/32 will be developed as a new waterfront commercial complex to house the new International Cruise Terminal, offices, parking, cinemas, retails and other maritime facilities. The total budget for the waterfront project (excluding landside development) is $170 million. As a member of the selected Design Team, STRUCTUS had performed seismic analyses, evaluation and retrofit study for Pier 30/32, a 550,000 sq.ft. concrete pier supported by concrete piles with sizes ranging from 18” square to 48” round. In addition, STRUCTUS coordinated with a testing laboratory and a diving inspection firm in performing field investigation and survey of over 4,000 concrete piles and their pile caps, and compiled a report of concrete damage for future concrete repair work. |
