BART AE030 Seismic Retrofit of System-Wide Shops and Yards

STRUCTUS is the prime consultant for the Seismic Retrofit Design of 22 Shop and Yard Buildings in the BART System, with a total building plan area of approximately 250,000 sf.

The project includes BART maintenance shops, offices, storage facilities, and train control towers. Seismic Retrofit design complies with FEMA 356 procedures and requirements to meet Life Safety Performance Goal for BSE-1 (Basic Safety Earthquake level 1) and to meet Collapse Prevention Goal for BSE-2 (level 2).
